Located a block from the Maryland-D.C. boundary, this 0.8-acre park provides open space for residents and visitors of Old Town Takoma Park. It also features a gazebo and playground equipment. M-NCPPC acquired the park in 1974.

Takoma Playground is an awesome playground and rec center in Takoma Park on the DC side. The playground is divided into a couple areas including the Little Kids area which is fully fenced, a big kids area and a small skate park.

Ten hopscotch boards will be painted, one on each of 10 playgrounds in Takoma Park in the next two months. Just imagine the hopping, jumping and playing that will result because of these additional hopscotch boards in our community!

This large neighborhood park has a playground, a pavilion, and ball fields. The playground is good, with lots of swings, six slides (three are covered), a climbing equipment and more. It is cushioned with a thick layer of mulch and parts of the playground are handicap accessible.
