Soo Line No. 2645 is a preserved E-25 class 4-6-0 "Ten Wheeler" type steam locomotive. It was built in November 1900 by the Brooks Locomotive Works as part of the E-25 class for the Wisconsin Central as No. 247.

Aug 21, 2004 · The #2645 was built in 1900 by Brooks Locomotive Works for the Wisconsin Central as their #247. The Minneapolis St. Paul & Sault Ste. Marie (commonly known as the “Soo Line”) leased the Wisconsin Central in 1909, and the locomotive became Soo #2645.

Mar 20, 2025 · Soo 2645 was donated to the City of Waukesha, Wisconsin in October of 1955 and was given a different tender than the one shown in the photo. Currently the E25 class Ten-Wheeler is at the Mid-Continent Railway Museum in North Freedom, Wisconsin where it was cosmetically restored a few years ago.
