Feb 5, 2023 · I was looking at upgrading my MK3S to the MK4, but I think I've got a better system right now. The network connectivity of the MK4 is very slow and my OctoPrint setup is a better user experience. You migbt get 10-20% speed improvement, and the auto Z calibration is really nice.. but it needs some aging yet.

Aug 22, 2023 · In order to use the IS you have to install the 5.0.0 RC or newer firmware, and Original Prusa MK4 Input Shaper printer profile. When using IS you will also have to use special filament profiles (suffixed @PGIS) as it requires higher than normal filament temperatures.

Oct 27, 2023 · Profile enabled the Prusa MK4 to run the cura gcode without problems, and recover ready for the next print. It is just a machine profile enabling cura produced gcode to print on the MK4 without problems.
