We LOVE the Morton Arboretum and are frequently there. Fountaindale Library is amazing and the whole basement is a maker space and studio. Whalon Lake has a nice trail and an amazing dog park. Get a permit if you’re interested because they do randomly check!

Oct 18, 2021 · Check online when the trees are supposed to be in their best autumn colors as that’s the time to visit, the Arboretum is incredible in the fall. Especially the Maple Trees section of the trail- it was an explosion of bright orange, red, and yellow last year!

Dec 16, 2021 · Not sure if Lisle has a town water park, many suburbs do. Standard summer events: every town has a “fest” at some point during the summer. Carnival rides, beer tent, craft fair, music. Many towns with a “downtown” have a weekly or monthly classic car show. Lisle specifically is famous for the Eyes to the Skies Balloon Fest every summer.
