The collectibles themselves have not been placed or configured for any of the games aside from Halo 3 yet, however. In Halo: CE and Halo 2, these will only appear in classic visuals. In ODST, these will receive the yellow outline when using VISR mode like the existing audio log collectibles.

The update also delivered a vast suite of improvements across the board to the MCC experience. UI adjustments have been made; Forge and modding tools have been enhanced; campaign crossplay has been added to Halo 3 and Halo 3: ODST; more skulls (including the boots-off-the-ground Acrophobia skull) have been added to other campaigns, and more!

Previously in Halo 3 and ODST, only the film from the first instance of joining a game was retained. Meanwhile in Reach, Halo 4, and Halo 2: Anniversary each rejoin would overwrite the previous film recorded from that game. Now, each join will retain its own film, so you won’t lose any cool clips you captured before leaving and rejoining a game.
