Are there any full-sized ovens that run on 120V?
Dec 8, 2015 · Either oven is going to be expensive. I would think it depends more on features, manufacturer, warranty etc... rather than whether gas or electric. You are in a good position that you can choose either fuel. You are going to have to go with 240 volt line, I …

Nov 28, 2001 · Touch the secondary of an angry MOT (Microwave Oven Transformer) - and it WILL kill you. Despite it being a relatively puny 2kV its 1/2 AMP current will put 1000W through your body and you will flop around like a catfish in a canoe, lose control of bladder and bowel functions and stop breathing.
Electric baseboard heat 120v vs 240v - AnandTech Forums
Dec 3, 2010 · To put this into perspective, common household appliances such as hair dryers, toasters, and portable heaters (as mentioned earlier) often draw 1500-2000 watts (13-17 amps). Dec 15, 2004 · I'm going to bet that most who experienced 220-240 volts actually experienced only 110-120 volts. To experience 220 volts, you'd have to touch both hot legs of the circuit. In all likelihood, you simply grounded one of the 120V legs.

May 21, 2001 · If I hold one lead of my volt meter and touch the other lead to said metal, it reads 8 - 12VAC depending on how hard I press my feet against the floor. I get quite a zap from the dryer if I go to get my clothes without putting my slippers on. :Q

Apr 22, 2019 · After 1 hour, I added more wood chips. Have a meat thermometer in the center of the fattest leg, it's reading below it's range of 120-190. After another 30 mins, temperature still below 120. Checking it again in about 30 mins.
using existing romex to run 12v dc power for under cabinet led …
Jan 4, 2014 · For example, 14 gage romex is specified to handle 15 amps; at 120v that would be 1800 watts of power. This is a large but acceptible draw for a 15 amp 120v circuit. Now try pushing that same power on a 12 volt circuit. 1800 watts / 12 volts = 150 amps! Whoops, you've just fried your cable.
Can router issues be caused by poor AC power?
Jul 5, 2015 · Recommendations for a protector are (as so often) bogus. Since a protector for 120 volt service does absolutely nothing until voltages well exceed 330 volts (as stated on its box). If you are suffering 330 volts, then your Wifi (and other appliances) are damaged - not longer restart. Start with front panel lights.
