Thousands of fans lined up in queues since 5 AM in the morning to get a glimpse of Virat Kohli as the India star made his Ranji Trophy return.

A massive crowd turned up at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi to witness star Indian batter Virat Kohli’s return to the Ranji Trophy after more than 12 years. Interest in Kohli’s return is so high that fans started queuing up outside the stadium as early as 5 AM.

The frequent chants of 'RCB, RCB' and 'Kohli, Kohli' dried up as the superstar took the long walk back to the dressing room, giving Railway employee Sangwan the most prized scalp of his career.

Virat Kohli is set to make a highly anticipated return to the Ranji Trophy after nearly 13 years. Kohli is using Delhi’s clash against Railways as preparation for the upcoming Champions Trophy. The last time Kohli played in the prestigious domestic tournament was back in 2012 under the captaincy of Virender Sehwag.

The Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi witnessed an enthusiastic crowd on the second day of the Ranji Trophy match between Delhi and Railways. With Delhi resuming at 41/1, the primary attraction for the assembled fans was the prospect of watching Indian cricket superstar Virat Kohli take the crease.
