The "student information system" of one of the nation's biggest education company's was targeted by hackers, school officials said.

Westerville City Schools confirmed personal student info was accessed in PowerSchool breach. Unclear if several more central Ohio districts affected.

PowerSchool, the company that provides our district’s Student Information System, notified us yesterday of a data breach that occurred between December 19 and December 23. This breach, which affected student data, has impacted PowerSchool districts across the U.S. and internationally, including several in Kansas.
