Thursday's four-player trade between the Flyers and Calgary Flames -- Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee to Calgary for Andrei Kuzmenko and Jakob Pelletier -- is properly viewed in two different contexts.

The 28-year-old Kuzmenko was scratched from Calgary’s lineup Thursday night and 23-year-old Pelletier was pulled after the first period of a 4-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks.

Well, Thursday night’s big swap with Calgary, which brought 28-year-old forward wing Andrei Kuzmenko to Philadelphia in exchange for forwards Morgan Frost and Joel Farabee (both in their mid-20s), just might be a change in that thinking.
