A biopic about Hulk Hogan, developed by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, has officially been cancelled. However, contrary to online speculation, the decision was made before the wrestling legend's death on 24 July 2025.

Ben Affleck and Matt Damon’s Hulk Hogan movie is no longer happening, per TMZ. The site reports that the duo stopped development on the film some time ago, and the decision was not related to the wrestler’s death last week.
