Hartford police are investigating a Wednesday night shooting. They say the shooting occurred at around 7:50 p.m. in the area of 20 Bedford Street. When officers arrived, they found evidence of gunfire and found a victim suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound on Pershing Street.

Hartford police said officers are investigating a shooting in the area of Broad and Russ streets that left a person injured on Saturday evening.

The Hartford Police Major Crimes and Crime Scene Divisions responded to the scene to conduct the ongoing investigation. Anyone with any information about the shooting is asked to call the Hartford Police Department Tip Line at 860-722-TIPS (8477).

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - Police in Hartford are investigating two separate shootings and a homicide Saturday evening. Hartford police say the first homicide of the new year happened at the Travel Inn Motel on Weston Street. Late Saturday morning they found 79-year-old Vincent Hokim dead.

The shooting was reported shortly after 2 p.m. in the 100 block of East Goguac Street. Gunshots struck an occupied house as well as several vehicles, Battle Creek police said. Police are seeking several people in connection with the shooting.

The Sparks Police Department is investigating a drive-by Tuesday evening shooting. The police department told WALB that the shooting happened at Crestview Drive and Ravenwood Drive at around 7 p.m. No one was injured in the shooting.

HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) - Officers responded to a ShotSpotter notification on Broad Street at Russ Street. Police said they found a man in his forties suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. He was brought to the hospital for treatment. This is an ongoing investigation.
