Video shared by WPTZ shows Stefanik made a rare public appearance in Upstate New York on Monday for a ceremony to honor the late John Zurlo. According to the TV station, protesters made up more than half of the crowd, loudly booing the Republican congresswoman both times she attempted to speak at the Clinton County Government Center in Plattsburgh.
