The 2025 Little League World Series continues on Saturday, Aug. 16, and the boys from Braintree, Mass. will play an elimination game. If they win, they will play another game on Sunday, Aug. 17.

Before their first game of the Little League World Series, the kids from Braintree received an encouraging message from members of the Boston Red Sox.

When a wild pitch escaped the reach of the New Hampshire defense, Frankie Fasoli began his high-speed chase to the plate. The Braintree American Little Leaguer was halfway there and hesitated. The catcher's throw to home slipped away, too, and Fasoli slid in safely.
