The home, which was built by Jason Russell, was the site of the bloodiest battle of the first day of the American Revolution on April 19, 1775.

Russell was joined by one of his sons, Boston Russell, who visited the Jason Russell House and Museum. The Hollywood star is best known for his roles in "Tombstone," "Escape from New York," and the Marvel movie, "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2."

Renowned American actor Kurt Russell spent part of his Fourth of July visiting the Arlington house where his eighth great-grandfather was butchered to death by British soldiers in a bloody battle that kicked off the Revolutionary War in 1775.
