Samsung's ultra-thin Android flagship just made its debut in South Korea: Meet the Galaxy S25 Edge with its 5.8mm-thick frame.

After months of teasers, speculation and rumours, Samsung has finally officially launched the Galaxy S25 Edge: its slimmest S-series phone ever. At a mere 5.8mm thick (not including the camera bump), it's noticeably thinner than other (already thin) phones, and it's also lighter, at just 163g.

There's one thing we need to get out of the way immediately: The $1,099 Galaxy S25 Edge is a substantially more expensive phone than the $799 iPhone 16. As such, the expectations for specs and features are a little different for these two phones. Here is what Samsung is working with:
