Joppa and the Animal Rescue League of Iowa are hosting a free wellness clinic for individuals aided by Joppa on Saturday. The clinic will run May 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

During a two-week stretch last in April, the von Arx Wildlife Hospital admitted 53 young Virginia Opossums and currently as of May 1 was treating 40.
