NFL Draft class is not one likely to incite multiple trades up on draft night. There is a limited supply of blue-chip talent and those teams in position to nab one are not going to be quick to trade out.

Revel’s 2024 season ended with a torn ACL in September, but his 2023 tape had him on track to be a first rounder. There simply aren’t a lot of cornerbacks at 6-2+ with his unique mirroring athleticism and ball skills in coverage.

The No. 4 spot on the draft board is still a premium draft selection, and the Patriots will have a crack at one of the top-four players in college football. It might make them less likely to trade the pick now out of fear of missing on a potential game-changer right out of the gates.
