The Bergen County Mosquito Control Division will spray Duet adulticide, which kills active adult mosquitos, and VectoBac larvicide, which attacks larvae, between the hours of 3 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Tuesday. Residents are asked to keep all windows closed during the spraying. If it rains, spraying will be delayed until Wednesday.

Since July, 12 human cases of West Nile virus have been announced, most of whom were exposed in various Massachusetts counties.

HENRY COUNTY, Ohio (WTVG) - The Henry County Health Department has announced that the first human West Nile virus case has been confirmed.

The communities of Beverly, Danvers, Essex, Manchester, Peabody, Salem and Wenham have been raised to "moderate" risk.

MAINE (WABI) - The Maine Center for Disease Control has found more birds with West Nile Virus. The CDC says wild birds have tested positive in Piscataquis, Sagdahoc, and Washington Counties. They also say an alpaca in Lincoln County tested positive.
