President Trump and Republicans in Congress are celebrating this holiday weekend after both the House and Senate passed what they call the "One Big Beautiful Bill." The President signed the legislation into law at the White House Friday.

Congressional Republicans are hoping to send their sweeping tax and spending cuts package, otherwise known as the “big, beautiful bill,” to President Donald Trump’s desk by July 4. The House and Senate have each narrowly passed their own versions of the bill.

An analysis of the just-passed Senate version of the One Big Beautiful Bill Act predicts the legislation will increase primary deficits by $3.1 trillion over 10 years. That didn’t worry the Senate—will it bother the House?
