The new version of the Razer Blade 16 is as slim as a MacBook Pro, yet boasts the latest Nvidia graphics chips and a stunning screen.

Razer announced it’s overhauling the Razer Blade 16 inside and out. In addition to a new CPU and GPU, the Blade 16 is now thinner overall than the outgoing 2024 model and comes with a few tweaks to its audio system and keyboard.

Razer’s Blade 16 sheds some bulk for 2025, unveiling a slimmer profile at CES without compromising gaming capabilities.

Razer's 16-inch Blade was already known as one of the most portable gaming laptops around; now it's 32% thinner with even more powerful hardware.

Razer is unveiling a thinner, smaller Blade 16 than we've ever seen. At just 0.59 inches thick, the Blade 16 (2025) is thinner than the Apple MacBook Pro 16 (M4 Pro, 2024).

Thinner devices are always at their most impressive when they nonetheless make improvements, though, and Razer says the keyboard on the Blade 16 (2025) will have 50% more travel than before, making for a more satisfying typing or gaming experience. Still, keyboards are less integral for gaming than your display and specs.

Not only is the first Blade 16 laptop to feature AMD hardware inside, it's also Razer's thinnest gaming laptop to date.

Between a heated and cooled gaming chair and an AI gaming companion, the hardware maker has also presented a look at the latest generation of Blade 16 laptops. This new model is looking to shake things up a tad by being the thinnest gaming laptop that Razer has ever made.
