The New York Yankees placed infielder Oswaldo Cabrera on the injured list Tuesday after he broke his ankle trying to score from third base vs. Seattle.

In the ninth inning of the Yankees’ 11-5 win over the Mariners on Monday night, third baseman Oswaldo Cabrera fractured his left ankle while scoring on a ninth-inning, bases-loaded sacrifice fly by Aaron Judge. LeMahieu will be in Seattle for Tuesday’s game.
