Light snow arrives tonight from the west and south mainly after 9 p.m. It could fall off and on with a coating to 2 inches possible, highest amounts south and east of D.C., before exiting east by around 7 a.

WEEKEND It will be a perfect winter weekend in West Michigan with highs in the upper 20s and fairly light wind until later Sunday. Most of the lake-effect snow bands will wrap up Saturday morning. Another blast of winter weather is targeting the Washington, D.C. region this weekend. FOX 5's Taylor Grenda says the light snow will arrive late Friday through early Saturday morning. Most areas will pick up a trace to an inch.
