Unlike most NFL teams, Jets coach Aaron Glenn had players participating in live tackling drills, where they were one-on-one in the open field and ball carries were being taken to the ground.

Before the final period of practice, Jets quarterback Justin Fields completed just one pass during 11-on-11 drills. He only attempted four passes during that stretch and Fields was also sacked by Micheal Clemons and Jamien Sherwood.

Aaron Glenn and the Jets’ new coaching staff picked Fields to run the offense and tailored it to his strengths. Fields was aware of the panic his injury created among Jets fans on social media. He said his phone blew up right away.
