At the time, Pascal referred to Rowling’s glee over the ruling – which said that trans women should not legally be considered women based on the 2010 Equality Act – as “Awful disgusting SH*T” and “Heinous LOSER behavior.”

J.K. Rowling, who poured tens of thousands of pounds into securing that result, unsurprisingly celebrated her “victory” with a glib social media post, writing, “I love it when a plan comes together.” In the comments of a separate Instagram post,
