"King of the Hill" may have wrapped its original run before Netflix even released its first original series ("House of Cards" in 2013), but the long-running animated comedy has quietly continued to deliver real financial value for Hulu.

Despite the change to digital animation, fans are loving the revival. The return to Arlen, Texas, is the best-case scenario for this type of series revival that is so common now: bringing a beloved series to our current social climate while retaining what made the original so great.

Season one’s second week climbed to 60.3 million views, which is the high mark for a Netflix English-language series in recent years. Season two of Squid Game holds the premiere-week high for all languages with 68 million views.
