A chilling new Netflix docuseries is set to reignite national interest in the murder of Gabby Petito, the 22-year-old aspiring social media influencer from New York whose life was cut short by her fiancé during their cross-country road trip.

After documenting her “vanlife” journey across the U.S. with her fiancé in 2021, Gabby Petito's disappearance captivated the nation. The 22-year-old aspiring influencer's case quickly went viral as social media sleuths and the public at large tried to figure out why Petito stopped communicating with her family and posting online.

He maintains his innocence from prison. “American Murder: Laci Peterson” included an interview with Amber Frey, the woman with whom Scott was living a double life at the time of Laci’s disappearance. Titled A merican Murder: Gabby Petito, the three-part documentary will land on the streaming service on February 17 and explores the events leading up to Ms Petito’s murder — including interview with friends and family members.
