Three-time Emmy winner Claire Danes ( Romeo + Juliet , Homeland ) is reuniting with Winnie Holzman , the creator of My So-Called Life , the series that gave Danes her big break as a 15 year old. This new project they’re collaborating on is the family drama series The Applebaum Curse .

The new series, titled "The Applebaum Curse," is billed as an ongoing one-hour drama series about a dysfunctional family with Danes as the lead role, per the official logline. The show is still in early development at the network,

Claire Danes is set to star in an HBO drama from MSCL creator Winnie Holzman. The project, titled The Applebaum Curse, is in early development at the premium cable outlet. Holzman will write the script and serve as showrunner, with Danes set to star. Both will executive produce.
