With the approval of the new excise policy of the Andhra Pradesh Cabinet headed by Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, liquor will become more affordable alcohol in the southern state. On Wednesday, the Andhra Pradesh government approved the new excise policy and 33 percent reservation for Backward Classes (BCs) in legislative bodies,

The cabinet also approved the proposal to provide 33% reservation to backward classes in legislative bodies and also resolved to establish an Artificial Intelligence university and a skilling academy in the state.
