Wichita Falls police have arrested an eighth person in connection with the investigation of a 2024 murder, according to court records. None of the people arrested has been charged with the murder.

Police have charged an eighth suspect with a felony offense stemming from their investigation into a Wichita Falls homicide in May 2024.

Hunter William Thrasher, 26, entered a guilty plea on April 21, 2025, to charges of murder and abuse of a corpse.
