WASHINGTON STATE — Washington’s first Work Zone Speed Camera begins enforcement on Wednesday in what’s been considered a “bold step” to protect road construction workers and drivers.

Drivers on I-5 through DuPont will now see a trailer-mounted camera ... DuPont Road interchange work zone. It is the first work zone speed camera on Washington State’s highways.

WSDOT says it has a work zone speed camera on eastbound State Route 522 near the Interstate 405 interchange.
