Curtis, a 6-foot-4, 225-pound passer, is rated by the 247Sports Composite as the No. 2 overall player in the 2026 class, and the No. 1 QB in the nation. He was previously committed to Georgia, but backed off of that decision a few months ago and opened things up, allowing Oregon’s Dan Lanning and the Ducks to get into the mix.

Curtis, a native of Nashville, Tenn., originally committed to Georgia in March 2024 but backed off that pledge in October.
