Authorities have identified a suspect in the stabbing death of an off-duty Cal Fire captain during a domestic dispute.

Rebecca Marodi, 49, was found Monday at a residence on Rancho Villa Road in Ramona, according to a San Diego Sheriff's Office news release.

Marodi, 49, was found stabbed to death inside of her San Diego County home on Monday. Police are still trying to identify a suspect and a motive.
