With injuries stacking up and options running low, it's getting harder to express any sort of optimism about the Braves' immediate future. Now things could get even tougher to bear for Braves fans. The 2025 MLB All-Star Game will be played at Truist Park in less than a week.

Harvard-Westlake coaches are headed to Atlanta to watch pitcher Max Fried and outfielder Pete Crow-Armstrong participate in the MLB All-Star Game.

Following the Yankees’ 6-4 victory over the Mets in the finale of the second Subway Series on Sunday at Citi Field, Max Fried and Jazz Chisholm Jr. were selected for the 2025 All-Star Game on July 15. It will be Fried’s third All-Star nod and Chisholm’s second.

Skubal was always going to be the headliner. The defending AL Cy Young winner is 10-2 with a 2.02 ERA, a ridiculous 0.81 WHIP and 148 strikeouts in 116 innings. His wins and WHIP are the best marks in all of baseball, and only Boston's Crochet had more strikeouts (144).

NEW YORK — As expected, Aaron Judge won’t be alone representing the Yankees at the All-Star Game later this month in Atlanta. Ace Max Fried and infielder Jazz Chisholm Jr. were also selected to the American League roster, MLB announced on Sunday evening.

Max Fried will not let himself look that far ahead. But the All-Star Game is now just a few weeks away, happening in the city where he spent the first eight years of his big league career. The Yankees left-hander became the first pitcher to reach 10 wins on Wednesday night while lowering his ERA to 1.
