You might have already seen Emilia Pérez on Netflix, but the Globes wins could be the first time you're hearing about The Brutalist. It's not a horror movie, despite the name, and is an epic about an architect who wants to achieve the American Dream.

Adrien Brody earned his first Golden Globe for his leading role in "The Brutalist," which also claimed best drama motion picture. Brady Corbet, who co-wrote and directed the film, was awarded best director, solidifying the movie's dominance after entering the night with seven nominations.

The Golden Globes actually did a decent job of doling out awards to some real deserving winners, but a lot of the series and movies that were honored you may never have seen.
