A source close to Channing Tatum tells PEOPLE that the actor has "been doing well" since his split from ex-fiancée Zoë Kravitz, noting that he is currently filming a movie in North Carolina and that he spends time with his 11-year-old daughter.

Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz have called off their engagement. The pair were last spotted together at a play in NYC on October 6, but in recent weeks, Zoë, 35, had been out and about without her ring from 44-year-old Channing.

Back in June when the engagement was still on, Lenny Kravitz spoke about what a great guy Tatum was, and it did seem like the two A-list men had formed a relationship of their own. The Step Up star was also in attendance when Kravitz got his star on the Hollywood walk of fame.
