When the Buffalo Bills defeated the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Divisional round, Lake-Lehman grad Connor McGovern knew there were two options left for the rest of the season.

Connor McGovern is officially a Pro Bowler. The former Lake-Lehman and Penn State standout had previously been named a first alternate for AFC. On Tuesday, the Buffalo Bills center got the nod with AFC starter Creed Humphrey headed to the Super Bowl with the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Bills were hoping to be occupied with Super Bowl planning this week, but their loss to the Chiefs last Sunday means that their players are free for other things.

Cook fills the spot left open by Baltimore’s Derrick Henry, who finished second in the NFL with an AFC-leading 1,921 yards rushing. Cook had 1,009 yards rushing with 16 touchdowns, tying Henry and Detroit’s Jahmyr Gibbs for the league lead.
