The Golden State Warriors honored Andre Iguodala on Sunday at the Chase Center following the 126-102 victory over the Dallas Mavericks.

The day was all about Andre Iguodala, who became the seventh player in team history to have his jersey retired. The feel-good sensation of the honorary occasion carried over to the basketball court and the Dallas Mavericks fell victim to an onslaught of offense by Klay Thompson’s former team.

Ten years after Iguodala helped the Warriors to their first of four championships, the team immortalized him by retiring his jersey. Curry, Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant are next in line. He didn’t have to be the best to be the first.

Iguodala spent the back half of his career with the Warriors, and was a key part of their four championship runs. Iguodala got his start with the Philadelphia 76ers, who selected him with the No. 9 overall pick in 2004.
