An improbably awe-inspiring campaign has officially come and gone for the Washington Commanders. They made an unthinkable run to the NFC Championship Game, only to be interrupted and eliminated by the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Eagles made history by scoring 55 points, the highest total in an NFC Championship game. The previous best total was 49 points, set by the Carolina Panthers in the 2015 season. The highest score in an AFC Championship is 51 points by the Buffalo Bills during the 1990 season.
