Once you know what macros you'd like to set up and have the Developer tab ready, here's what to do in Excel on Windows or macOS: Click the Developer tab and find the Code group.
If Developer tab in Microsoft Office is missing, you can add Developer tab in Word, Excel, etc. via Settings, Group Policy, Registry Editor.
To enable the Developer tab, open Excel and go to the File menu. From there, select Options, then Customize Ribbon. In the right pane of the dialog box that appears, check the Developer box.
First, enable the Developer tab, then create a Macro. After that, save it as an Excel Macro-Enabled Workbook for Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet and a Word Macro-Enabled Document for Microsoft Word.
