Windows 11's File Explorer is getting a bunch of new buttons that will make its Home page a lot more convenient.

Good news: FX File Explorer is back on the Play Store. The developer reports that the new version is identical to the one they published a few months ago – no changes have been made.

Users can restore the classic command ribbon to File Explorer in Windows 11 by hacking the Registry File and adding a specific string value to a new key.

Files UWP is a third-party, open-source file management app for Windows 10 that packs in Fluent Design and extra features to serve as an alternative to the built-in File Explorer.

The Windows 10 File Explorer offers a handy tool called Preview Pane. Though this feature, you can preview many different types of files without having to open them in their associated applications.
