It involves the 2014 API Outdoors climbing tree stands model GCL300-A (The Marksman) with batch numbers 9G-0114 and 9G-0614. Big Game is recalling about 12,200 of the 2014 climbing tree stands.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission said Wednesday that Alliance Outdoor Products is recalling roughly 3,400 units of its Silent Adrenaline and Apache climbing treestands.

The model affected from API is called the Marksman. The models from Big Game are: The Outlook, Colbalt and the Fusion. Both companies are offering replacement cables at no cost.
