Stock futures were higher in premarket trading on Monday after the S&P 500 suffered its biggest drop of the year on Friday.

U.S. stock futures were little changed on Thursday night after the major averages slid following a lackluster earnings forecast from retail giant Walmart. Dow Jones Industrial Average futures added 28 points, or less than 0.1%. S&P 500 futures were marginally higher, while Nasdaq-100 futures rose 0.1%.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average shed 165.35 points, or 0.37%, closing at 44,546.08. The S&P 500 ticked down 0.01% to 6,114.63, and the Nasdaq Composite added 0.41% to close at 20,026.77.
