BULDHANA: Sharing the dais with Shiv Sena's controversial Buldhana MLA Sanjay Gaikwad who recently announced a Rs 11 lakh reward for cutting Rahul Gandhi's tongue, chief minister Eknath Shinde on Thursday said that protests against Rahul and the Congress on their stand against reservations would continue.

Mumbai: The city's 'Swachhata Hi Seva' campaign was launched yesterday at Swarajya Bhoomi, Girgaon Chowpatty, with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde inaugurating the initiative. The event marked the beginning of a statewide cleanliness drive that will continue until Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti on October 2.

Eknath Shinde was present at the inauguration event along with his deputies Devendra Fadnavis and Ajit Pawar, Industries Minister Uday Samant, cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, Rajendra Chodankar, and Chairman of RRP Electronics Limited.

Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde launched the 'Swachhata Hi Seva' drive at Girgaon Chowpatty, Mumbai. Highlighting the benefits of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan initiated by PM Modi, Shinde emphasized its impact on pollution reduction and public cleanliness.

Notwithstanding the reactions from the Mahayuti partners, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde appointed his party's Rajya Sabha member Milind Deora, MLA Sada Sarvankar and others to the District Planning and Development Council (DPDC) for the Mumbai city district on Thursday.
