Digital payments platform Google Pay has launched Aadhaar-based Unified Payments Interface (UPI) activation for its users with the help of the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
This move by Google Pay was followed by a similar move by other UPI platforms such as PhonePe and Paytm. Past digital payment platforms including Google Pay have brought in similar fees.
