Police Scotland has investigated an allegation of a “non-recent sexual assault” by Mohamed Al Fayed after reports of an incident at his former estate in the Highlands. Enquiries are now complete but the case could be reopened “should new information be obtained or reported”,

Police Scotland has said it investigated a report of a "non-recent sexual assault" at Mohamed Al Fayed's Highland estate. The late Harrods owner has been described as a "sexual predator" who assaulted staff and threatened them over a 25-year-period in London and other locations, according barristers representing dozens of women.

It is 33 years since Catherine and Natacha left Harrods, and more than a year since their abuser Mohamed Fayed died, yet one emotion still grips them as they talk about their former employer: fear.
