The Nintendo Switch 2 will have its big reveal on Wednesday, April 2. Excited gamers will finally have their questions answered on the successor of Nintendo's portable console. Two of the big questions — when preorders will be available and when the Switch 2 will launch — might have already been revealed.

Best Buy Canada has announced “Pre-orders for Nintendo Switch 2 will open on April 2nd” and notes this will give “you the chance to secure your console early.” The retailer’s Switch 2 listing page isn’t live, but you can sign up to be notified when pre-orders begin.

In early February, an Italian retailer listed the Nintendo Switch 2 on its website, letting customers pre-order the console before it has even been fully unveiled. The system is priced at €389.99 (£325), making it only slightly more expensive than the Nintendo Switch OLED.
