Some MS Excel users reported Excel is not opening on double-click on their Windows computers, and some other users reported that Excel would open normally but the Excel file would not open.

If Excel is not set as the default application to open the Excel file types (.xls, .xlm, .cvs, etc.), the file may open in another application. Press Win+I key combinations to open Windows Settings.
