After his team won the NBA Rising Stars challenge, Dalton Knecht earned the right to play a team of All-Stars led by his Lakers teammate LeBron James.

It's been quite a season for Dalton Knecht, but despite being part of a rescinded Lakers trade to Charlotte, the rookie is excited to be at the NBA All-Star Game.

Los Angeles Lakers rookie Dalton Knecht has had an eventful two weeks. After it was reported by ESPN’s Shams Charania on Feb. 5 that Knecht was being traded to the Charlotte Hornets in exchange for center Mark Williams, the Lakers announced three days later the trade had been rescinded.

LeBron James didn't take part in the NBA All-Star Game on Sunday when his team was set to take on the Rising Stars, but Los Angeles Lakers fans did get to see rookie sharpshooter Dalton Knecht in action during that matchup.
