Before designing an algorithm it is important to first understand what the problem is. Algorithms can be designed using pseudocode or a flowchart, and the standard notations of each should be known.

Open Source Codex is built on GPT-3, OpenAI's notorious text-generating algorithm that was trained on huge chunks of the written internet.

In the code released last week, Musk’s name appears, seemingly confirming reports that he had pressured engineers into creating a special system to have the algorithm prioritize his tweets.

What happens once the source code used to recommend tweets is shared and the Twitter algorithm is further illuminated remains to be seen. Either way, we look forward to finding out come March 31.
