Virgin Australia cancelled all flights in and out of Bali, Indonesia, on Wednesday as volcanic ash from the eruption of Mount Lewotobi made flying unsafe, the carrier said.

Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Australia have resumed flights to and from Bali after a huge ash cloud from a volcano in Indonesia forced them to axe services.

Ongoing volcanic eruptions and ash cloud pollution have forced several airlines to cancel flights to and from Bali for safety reasons. Mount Lewotobi Laki-Laki - located on the Lesser Sunda Islands in Indonesia - began erupting on November 3rd, leading to the deaths of at least nine people.
